The copy-paste loop, once
It is Tuesday, you have a wall of raw meeting notes, and three of them need to become Jira tickets. The chatbot way: open a tab, paste “here's our product and how we write tickets”, paste the notes, read the answer, copy it, switch to Jira, paste, repeat for the next two. Save the instruction as an Action
In Agents, create an Action like “Notes to ticket”. No prompt to hand-write? Type a one-line description and press Generate: Khint drafts the prompt; press Improve later to refine it in place. Now the instruction you used to retype into every chat is a reusable row in the palette.

Select, shortcut, done: no tab switch
Highlight the first block of notes, press Cmd+Shift+K, run “Notes to ticket”, and the structured ticket is pasted back where your cursor is. No browser tab opened, no answer copied by hand. Repeat on the next block: same Action, same context, one keystroke each.
Push to the tracker from the same keyboard

When the chatbot is still the right tool
Open-ended exploration, brainstorming, a long back-and-forth where you don't know the shape of the answer yet: that is what a chat window is for, and Khint doesn't replace it. What is a 'text action' compared to a chatbot prompt?
A chatbot prompt is typed fresh into a tab each time, then you copy the answer back by hand. A Khint Action is a prompt you write once and reuse forever: select text anywhere, press Cmd+Shift+K, pick the Action, and the rewritten text is pasted back in place. The instruction lives in the Action, not in your muscle memory, so 'turn these notes into a Jira ticket' is one keystroke instead of a paragraph you retype every time.
Do I still need to paste my product context every time?
No. That is the part Khint removes. Start a Memory session for what you are working on and Khint keeps a compacted running summary that rides along on every Action automatically. In a chatbot you restate the product area, the audience, and the conventions in each new chat; with a Memory session the model already has that context, so you only select the new text.
Can it write back to Jira, Confluence or Linear like I would after a chat?
Yes, without the copy-paste tail. Connect Atlassian (email, API token, cloud domain) or Linear and the palette gains rows to Pull an issue, Create issue, Add comment, Change status, or Create a Confluence page. One item per run, so every write is explicit. After a chatbot answer you would still paste the result into the tracker yourself; here the push is part of the same shortcut.
Is my text safer than pasting it into a chat history?
An Action only ever sees the text you selected, plus the compacted summary of your active Memory session if you opted in, nothing else from your screen. Memory sessions live in a local SQLite database on your Mac and are never synced to Khint's servers, so your roadmap is not accumulating in a chat transcript you forgot to clear. Stop the session and the context is closed.
