One AI toolkit forproduct owners.
Meeting notes to Jira tickets. Screenshots to requirements. A session memory your AI tools can read. One menu-bar app, one shortcut.
Your loop is meetings → tickets.
Your tools don't know that.
A PO's day is the same loop on repeat: listen, extract, write it up, file it. ChatGPT in a browser tab doesn't see your sprint, your screen, or your morning — so you re-explain everything, every prompt.
Khint puts the whole loop behind one shortcut. Select text anywhere and run an AI Action on it in place. Capture any region of the screen to text. Keep a work session running so each step knows what the last one did. And when the ticket is ready, create it in Jira, Confluence, or Linear without leaving the palette — the integrations write into your tools, they don't replace them.
A refinement day,
start to ticket.
Every step below is a shipped feature, not a roadmap slide.
- 09:25Start a Memory sessionBefore backlog refinement, press Start on a session called 'Refinement — payments epic'. From now on, everything you pull, capture, and run gets compacted into a short context that every later Action sees.
- 09:30Pull the sprint into contextOpen the palette, hit Active sprint. The sprint's issues land in your session as context — no tab switching, no copy-paste from Jira.
- 10:15Capture the spec nobody sent youA designer shares a flow diagram on screen. Palette → Extract text: drag a region, the text is on your clipboard. Or Capture & ask to question the screenshot directly.
- 11:00Notes → ticket, in placeSelect your raw meeting notes in any app, hit Cmd+Shift+K, run a 'Draft user story' Action. Because the session is active, the draft already knows the epic, the sprint, and what the diagram said.
- 11:05One workflow, ticket createdOr skip the steps: a workflow chains 'Extract requirements' → 'Format as ticket' → a Jira Create issue step. The chain ends with the created issue key, ready to paste into the channel.
- 14:00Hand the context to your AI clientClaude Desktop or Codex reads the same live session over the bundled MCP server. Ask 'what did we decide this morning?' — no re-explaining, no pasting transcripts.
Start from packs,
not a blank prompt.
Khint ships a starter-pack gallery built for this persona: Meeting → Ticket, Backlog Refiner, Doc Polish, plus Dev Daily and Support Desk for the teams around you. Add one, edit the prompts to match your team's ticket format, or describe a workflow in plain English and let the AI generator assemble the steps. When a pack works, share it — teammates join with a link and clone it read-only into their own setup, so the whole squad writes tickets the same way.
The four pieces of the toolkit.
Common questions from POs and BAs.
What can a product owner actually do with Khint?
Select any text — meeting notes, a Slack thread, an email — hit Cmd+Shift+K, and run an AI Action on it in place: rewrite it as a user story, extract requirements, polish a PRD section. The same palette pulls and creates Jira issues and Confluence pages (with an Atlassian API token), captures any region of your screen to text, and chains up to 5 steps into a workflow that ends with a created ticket.
Does Khint replace Jira, Confluence, or Linear?
No. Khint writes into them. Connect Atlassian (email + API token + cloud domain) or Linear (API key) from the in-app Integrations page, and the palette gains rows like Create issue, Add comment, Change status, and Create page. Workflows can embed those writes as steps, so 'meeting notes → formatted ticket → created in Jira' is one chain.
Does my backlog leave my machine?
Only what you explicitly act on. An Action sees the text you selected plus, optionally, the active Memory session's compact summary — nothing else. Memory sessions live in a local SQLite file and are never synced to a server. Atlassian and Linear credentials stay in your OS keychain.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free tier includes 10 AI actions per day and 5 screen captures per day, no credit card. Premium is €9.99/month for unlimited use. Khint runs on macOS 13+ and Windows 10 22H2+.
Run tomorrow's refinement with it.
Free with 10 AI actions and 5 captures per day. No credit card. Connect Jira when you're ready — it takes an API token, not an admin.
