Break each committed item into tickets
For every item the team pulled, run a second Action that turns it into a developer-ready ticket: problem, value, acceptance criteria. If a committed item is still too big, lean on a decomposition Actionto split it on the spot. The scope above is invented for the example: Khint never picks what goes in the sprint or estimates how much fits. It writes the goal, lists what the team committed, and surfaces the risks they raised, in the structure your Action asks for. Does Khint decide capacity or velocity for me?
No. Khint never estimates story points, computes velocity, or picks your scope: those are team decisions made in the room. What it does is capture what the team committed to and shape it: write the goal in plain language, list the agreed items, and break each one into tickets. The commitment is yours; Khint just makes it legible and gets it into the tracker fast.
How is this different from breaking an epic into stories?
Epic breakdown is a one-time decomposition of a single large item. Sprint planning is the ceremony where the team picks a goal and commits a slice of the backlog for one sprint, usually touching many items, not one. Can Khint push the plan into Jira and Confluence?
Once you connect Atlassian with your email, an API token, and your cloud domain, the palette gains Jira and Confluence rows. Create issue files each committed ticket (one issue per run, so every creation is explicit) while the Active sprint and Search rows pull the backlog candidates you are discussing. Where do my planning notes go?
An Action only ever sees the text you selected, plus the compacted summary of your active Memory session if you opted in. Memory sessions live in a local SQLite database on your Mac and are never synced to Khint's servers, and your Jira credentials sit in your OS keychain.
