Where Notion AI stops
Your PRD lives in Notion and Notion AI polishes it beautifully. But the acceptance criteria you write in Jira, the error screenshot a developer drops in Slack, the status email to a stakeholder: none of that is in a Notion page. Half a product owner's writing happens outside the doc, and that is exactly the half Khint is built for.
Save the transform once as an Action

Pull text in from a screenshot
A developer pastes an error dialog as an image, or a spec arrives as a PDF. Use Capture from the palette to select the region and extract the text, then run an Action on it. A picture becomes a requirement without you retyping a line.
Write back to your tools, including Notion
With Atlassian connected, the palette's Jira Create issue row files the ticket directly; Confluence Create page publishes a page, one item per run. Connect Notion with a token and the palette gains Create page and Append rows too, so Khint feeds the same workspace Notion AI edits. Prefer Linear? Those rows draft issues the same way.
When Notion AI is the right tool
When your work already lives in Notion (drafting a wiki page, summarizing a long doc, asking questions across the workspace), an in-document assistant is exactly where you want the AI. Khint does not replace that; it can even push new pages into the same workspace through the Notion integration. Khint is for the other half: the repeated transformation applied to text that lives in a tracker, an inbox, or a screenshot: the same kind of rewrite, dozens of times a week, behind one keystroke. Common questions
Is Khint a replacement for Notion AI?
Not really: they solve different halves of the day. Notion AI works on content that already lives in a Notion page: drafting, summarizing, and Q&A inside your workspace. Khint is a system-wide layer that runs saved AI actions on whatever text you select in any app: your tracker, your inbox, a chat thread. They can coexist: connect Notion in Khint (with a pasted token) and the palette even gains rows to create, append to, pull, and search Notion pages, so Khint can write into the same workspace it complements.
Can Khint act on text that is not inside Notion?
That is the whole point. A Khint Action runs on the text you highlight anywhere: a Jira description, a stakeholder email, a Slack message, a PDF. You press Cmd+Shift+K, pick the Action, and the rewritten text is pasted back in place. With Notion AI you would first bring that text into a Notion page to work on it; Khint meets the text where it already is.
Do I have to write prompts to use Khint?
No. In the Action editor, type a one-line description and press Generate: Khint drafts the prompt; press Improve later to refine it in place. Khint also ships starter packs you can browse and clone from the Agents page, so you begin with working actions like a ticket writer or a note-to-story rewrite without writing anything.
Where does my text go, and is it stored in a workspace?
An Action only ever sees the text you selected, plus the compacted summary of your active Memory session if you opted in, nothing else from your screen. Memory sessions live in a local SQLite database on your device and are never synced to Khint's servers, so your roadmap is not accumulating inside a shared workspace. Stop the session and that context is closed.
