Scratch notes in,finished minutes out
Writing up minutes after the meeting is the chore that slides to tomorrow and then never gets sent. Khint runs an AI Action on the notes you already typed and returns clean, structured minutes (attendees, decisions, discussion, action items) from one keyboard shortcut.
The meeting's done,
the write-up still isn't
Everyone left the room with a shared understanding, and you left with a page of half-sentences only you can read. Turning that into minutes someone else can act on means sorting the decisions from the debate, naming owners, pulling out the open questions, and shaping it all into a format your team recognises. It is fifteen unglamorous minutes that get postponed, and minutes that arrive two days late stop being read. Khint closes that gap: an Agent you tune once turns the scratch notes into your minutes template, Memorykeeps the meeting's names and context attached to the draft, and when the minutes are ready the integrations publish or send them without leaving your notes.
One Action, one consistent shape
The sections your minutes Action fills, every time.

One meeting, start to sent minutes
A quarterly steering review, step by step.
Start a session for the meeting
Open Memory and start a session: “Q3 steering review”. Every Action you run is logged and Khint keeps a compact running summary, so when you generate the minutes the model already knows the attendees and the topics that came up earlier in the call. How Memory works →
Save a minutes Action once
In Agents, create an Action whose whole job is to reformat notes into your minutes template: a fixed set of sections (Attendees, Decisions, Discussion summary, Action items, Open questions) in a fixed order and tone. Describe it in plain language and let the editor Generate the prompt, then Improve it until the shape matches what your team expects to read.
Type the meeting as it happens
You keep your usual scratch notes through the hour: “Maya, Sam, Priya, Tom there. Agreed to ship v2 export behind a flag. Long debate on pricing, parked. Sam owns the migration doc by Fri. Still unclear who signs off Legal copy.” A wall of half-sentences, decisions, and asides, exactly as it came out of the room.
Run the minutes Action in place
Select those lines and trigger the Action from the palette (Cmd+Shift+K). It returns clean minutes: Attendees listed, the export decision under Decisions, the pricing debate noted as parked, Sam's migration doc under Action items with its Friday date, and the Legal sign-off under Open questions. The formatted minutes land where your cursor is, ready to send.
Send it, keep the trail
Paste the minutes straight into the meeting thread or an email. With Confluence connected, the palette can publish them as a page instead; with Slack or Gmail connected it can post or send them, each from a row you trigger, never in the background. And every Action you ran is in your Memory session, so the meeting reads back as a record of what was decided and what you sent. How integrations work →
Minutes are a starting point, not an end
The finished minutes are reusable text. Paste them into a thread, or chain them: build a workflow of up to five steps in series so the same notes draft the minutes and then publish them. The same machinery writes to Confluence, Jira, and Linear, so a sibling flow can file the action items as tickets while the minutes themselves become a page. And because Khint ships an MCP server, Claude Desktop or Codex can read the meeting session directly (the raw notes, the minutes, whatever you filed) without copy-paste.
Common questions
How does Khint turn my notes into formal minutes?
You write one reusable AI Action, "reformat these raw notes into meeting minutes with these sections: Attendees, Agenda, Decisions, Discussion summary, Action items (owner and due date), and Open questions; keep only what was actually said and leave a section out if there is nothing for it", and save it in a pack. Then you select the running notes you typed during the call and run that Action from the palette with a keyboard shortcut. The structured minutes land in place of the scratch text. The Action editor can Generate that prompt from a plain-language description, so you are not writing prompt boilerplate by hand.
Can I match my team's minutes template?
Yes: the section list, the heading wording, the order, and the tone all live in the Action prompt, so you shape it once to your house style and every meeting after produces the same shape. When the format needs to change, open the Action and use Improve to refine the wording in place. You can keep more than one: a tight minutes Action for stand-ups and a fuller one for steering meetings, each a row in the palette.
Does it keep the context of a recurring meeting?
If a Memory session is active, the meeting's context rides along with each Action. Start a session for the meeting and everything you run is logged and compacted into a short running summary that is attached to the next Action, so when you generate the minutes the model already has the names and topics that came up earlier in the call. Sessions are stored locally in SQLite on your machine and are never synced to the cloud.
What does Khint send to the AI, and where do my notes go?
Only the text you selected, plus (if a Memory session is active) the compacted session summary. Nothing else leaves your device silently. Khint runs on the free tier at 10 AI actions and 5 captures per day with no credit card; paid plans start at €7/mo, with Pro at €29/mo for 100 AI actions a day; every plan includes all the work integrations.
